In this intense episode of Rime of the Frostmaiden, the Icebreakers arrive at the charred remains of Caer Dineval, ravaged by the Chardalyn Dragon’s fury. But the town’s devastation is only the beginning of their troubles. The once-great fortress is now controlled by the Cult of the Nine-fingered Hand, a group of devil worshippers with dark and dangerous plans.
As the Icebreakers infiltrate the ruins, they clash with the cultists in a tense battle. Amidst the chaos, an unexpected figure from their past emerges—someone whose return could spell disaster for the party and all of Icewind Dale. Old fears and unresolved conflicts add to the peril, making the situation even more dire.
With the cult’s dark rituals underway and a familiar foe threatening their mission, the Icebreakers must muster all their strength to prevent a catastrophe that could engulf Icewind Dale in eternal darkness. Will they succeed in stopping this new threat, or will the region fall to the cult’s sinister designs? Tune in to find out as the Icebreakers face one of their most dangerous challenges yet.
